Half-Time Report: No goals at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea are frustrated by West Ham United in a goalless first 45 minutes at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have been held by West Ham United in a goalless first half at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.

Adrian was forced into action early on when Oscar curled the ball towards the top corner, only to be denied by the goalkeeper's diving save.

The deadlock could have been broken just moments later but Samuel Eto'o failed to test Adrian from the edge of the box following good work on the wing from Eden Hazard.

Chelsea were reduced to long-range efforts for most of the first half as West Ham frustrated their opponents, despite not enjoying much possession of their own.

The hosts came close to taking the lead just before the break but Adrian managed to tip John Terry's header past the post.
