Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Crystal Palace

Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League encounter with Crystal Palace.

Chelsea play host to Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon looking to continue their impressive run of form in the Premier League.

The Blues have won their last five matches in England's top flight, which has moved the club into fourth position in the standings.

However, Frank Lampard has a number of selection issues to contend with ahead of taking on the Eagles at Stamford Bridge.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension list for Chelsea as they prepare for their final fixture before the international break.

Mason Mount

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: November 9 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Mount was withdrawn during the second half against Ajax after sustaining an ankle injury. However, Lampard has revealed that the playmaker is likely to feature in the squad this weekend.

Antonio Rudiger

Status: Out
Type of injury: Pelvis
Possible return date: November 23 (vs. Manchester City)

Rudiger has not featured since playing 45 minutes against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the middle of September. Lampard confirmed earlier this week that the defender had undergone tests on a pelvis injury, which suggests that the German will not be available until after the international break.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Status: Out
Type of injury: Achilles
Possible return date: Unknown

Loftus-Cheek has been out since May with a major Achilles injury. The academy graduate hopes to return at some point after the November international break.

Ross Barkley

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: November 23 (vs. Manchester City)

While Barkley is back training with the rest of the group after an ankle injury, the playmaker will play no part of this match, something which could potentially prevent the midfielder from representing England during the international break.

Jorginho

Possible return date: November 23 (vs. Manchester City)

Having picked up his fifth Premier League yellow card against Watford last weekend, Jorginho will now serve a one-match ban.
