Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi is reportedly on course to make a return to training earlier than expected following his layoff from a ruptured Achilles.
The 18-year-old sustained the injury a fortnight ago and underwent surgery, which was initially expected to rule him for up to six months.
According to The Sun, though, Hudson-Odoi hopes to return to training during pre-season and is on course for a first-team comeback by September.
Bayern Munich failed with a £35m bid for the England international in January, and his lengthy layoff was expected to put the German giants off making a fresh approach in the summer.
However, it is claimed that Hudson-Odoi's swifter-than-expected return may tempt Bayern to test Chelsea's resolve for a fourth time.
