Chelsea are reportedly hit by a further positive coronavirus test ahead of Sunday's Premier League fixture at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Chelsea's Premier League fixture at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday seemingly remains very much in doubt after another player reportedly tested positive for coronavirus.

Earlier this week, four Chelsea players - Ben Chilwell, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku - were all confirmed to have tested positive by head coach Thomas Tuchel.

On Saturday, it was alleged that two more squad members, who have not been named, had also tested positive, but reports claimed that the game at Molineux was not in doubt.

However, according to Instagram page Cfcnewspage, a seventh player will now miss the game at Wolves after testing positive from Saturday's round of testing.

The same source says that Sunday's encounter is still scheduled to go ahead, but it is dependent on more tests being conducted on Sunday.

On Saturday, Aston Villa's fixture with Burnley was postponed just over two hours before kickoff.
