Sunday's Premier League football predictions including Tottenham vs. Liverpool

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Tottenham Hotspur vs. Liverpool.

Newcastle vs. Man City (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Manchester City are looking to remain on top of the Premier League on Sunday, when they travel to St James' Park where they will face a struggling Newcastle United.

The Magpies are three points away from safety but both Burnley and Watford have at least one game in hand on them, and Newcastle have not beaten Man City in their last five meetings.

We say: Newcastle United 0-3 Manchester City

Man City are strong favourites for this one and after putting seven past Leeds, the visitors are expected to be free flowing in front of goal again on Sunday.

Newcastle are in a tough period with games against the top two and teams around the top four, but they have not managed to show much in their last few games which suggests that they can take anything from this clash.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Wolves vs. Chelsea (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Chelsea square off against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday afternoon looking for the victory which may be required to keep pace with the Premier League's top two.

While the Blues head into the contest at Molineux in third position, Wolves retained a place in the top 10 earlier this week with a narrow win at Brighton & Hove Albion.

We say: Wolverhampton Wanderers 0-0 Chelsea

With Chelsea missing many of their frontline and Wolves having performed so impressively in defence this season, there is only one result that we can predict here. While both clubs have the potentially to win 1-0, it would come as no surprise if this contest ends goalless.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Spurs vs. Liverpool (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Tottenham Hotspur will be in action for the first time in two weeks on Sunday when they welcome title-chasing Liverpool to North London in the headline fixture of a COVID-affected Premier League weekend.

The hosts have seen their last three games in all competitions postponed due to outbreaks, whereas Liverpool are yet to miss a game despite recording three suspected positive tests themselves during the week.

We say: Tottenham Hotspur 1-2 Liverpool

The big question mark hanging over this fixture will be what state Tottenham are in - will their two-week break leave them fresh or rusty?

If the latter, they could be caught cold against a free-scoring Liverpool side looking sharper than ever in front of goal, although Klopp's men will not be at full strength either due to their own coronavirus issues.

Even so, it is hard to back against the Reds at the moment and, given their formidable record against Tottenham in recent years as well, we are backing them to march on with another victory on Sunday.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
