John Terry leaves Liberty Stadium on crutches

Chelsea captain John Terry leaves the Liberty Stadium on crutches after suffering an ankle injury in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Swansea City.

John Terry could be facing a period on the sidelines after turning his ankle in Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Swansea City on Sunday, which has left the former England captain on crutches.

An incident-filled match saw Swansea come from behind to lead on home soil, before Diego Costa netted his second of the match to secure a point for the visitors, who are still unbeaten this season.

Terry, 35, turned his ankle in the final moments of the Premier League match, however, and following the clash, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte revealed that the centre-back would undergo a scan on Monday, just four days before the Blues host Liverpool.

Terry's expected absence could allow deadline-day signing David Luiz, who was on the bench for the clash in Wales, to enjoy a run in the team.
