Referee Mark Clattenburg has been praised by former official Dermot Gallagher ahead of tonight's Premier League meeting between Chelsea and Manchester City.
Clattenburg, who took charge of the Manchester derby in October, will also be the man in the middle for this evening's fixture.
Gallagher believes that 36-year-old Clattenburg should officiate at Stamford Bridge in a similar way that he did at Old Trafford.
"My advice for Mark Clattenburg tonight is however he prepared for [the Manchester derby] is to do the same tonight," he told Sky Sports News. "That was one of the best refereeing performances this season without doubt.
"To reinforce that and show how good that performance was, he is now rocketing through Europe. Last week he refereed in the Champions League."
Chelsea currently trail leaders City by ten points in the Premier League table.
