Conor Gallagher has insisted that his focus remains on breaking through at Chelsea, despite his successful loan spell with Crystal Palace.
The England international is spending the season with the Eagles and has played in every Premier League game so far, except for against his parent club.
The 21-year-old has been a regular for Patrick Vieira, with Crystal Palace currently sitting 10th in the division, losing just two games so far this campaign.
Steve Sidwell revealed to the Daily Express that Gallagher is keen to prove himself to Thomas Tuchel with his desire being to return to the Blues at the end of the season.
"I remember Rio [Ferdinand] telling me he did an interview with him [Gallagher] not long ago," Sidwell stated.
The midfielder told Rio: "When you speak about me, make sure that I state that I want to go back to Chelsea. I am not here in the shop window to get a move. I am doing this to show them what I can do to go back to Chelsea."
Gallager has scored four goals and picked up two assists so far for the Eagles, which earned him his first England call-up by Gareth Southgate during the recent international break.
