Rene Higuita: 'Juan Cuadrado will be a success at Chelsea'

Former Colombia international Rene Higuita believes that winger Juan Cuadrado will be a success during his time at Chelsea.

Former Colombia goalkeeper Rene Higuita believes that winger Juan Cuadrado will make a good impression at Chelsea once he has settled in the Premier League.

Cuadrado, a January signing from Fiorentina, has struggled during his opening matches for the Blues, but Higuita has backed the 26-year-old to show his ability next season.

Higuita is quoted by London 24 as saying: "He is a player that has many qualities, and hopefully he'll do well in London.

"He'll make a very good improvement process in England and hopefully look his best version. I think he can do it."

Cuadrado is yet to score in his opening eight appearances at Stamford Bridge.
