Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho to face no action over Eva Carneiro abuse claims

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho faces no action over claims that he verbally abused club doctor Eva Carneiro, the Football Association confirms.

The Football Association has confirmed that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will face no action over claims that he verbally abused club doctor Eva Carneiro after the 2-2 draw with Swansea City last month.

Mourinho criticised Carneiro for treating Belgian winger Eden Hazard during added time, after his side had already been reduced to 10 men following Thibaut Courtois's red card in the second half.

The Portuguese coach reportedly banned Carneiro from sitting on the Chelsea bench during games, although it is thought that she was allowed back to the training ground last week.

Following Mourinho's outburst, Carneiro issued thanks to the public after receiving support on social networking sites.

Carnerio was promoted to the position by former Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas in 2011.
