Jose Mourinho: 'I'm not getting carried away'

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho claims that he won't be getting carried away by his side's good start to the Premier League season.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has played down the significance of his side's 2-0 victory against Arsenal on Sunday.

The Blues extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points, but the Portuguese coach said that he is not getting carried away.

He told the club's official website: "It's just seven matches. It's the beginning of October. If you tell me this will be the situation in February, I would say great, but it's not February.

"There's a long way to go. We have to enjoy the moment because the moment is good.

"We have won matches in the Premier League, we recovered from a bad result in the Champions League, we won our Capital One Cup game. We only have reasons to be happy."

Mourinho's men travel to Crystal Palace after the international break.
