Chelsea's Jose Mourinho questions UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho claims that some clubs are not following UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules are "dodgy".

The Portuguese believes that European football's governing body needs to implement its policies better and claims that some clubs do not follow the rules.

"The way UEFA controls the situation is very strange," The Mirror quotes him as saying. "There are clubs that are following exactly the Financial Fair Play rules and there are other clubs doing it in a dodgy way.

"I don't say which clubs – that is not my job. If I was a football journalist, it would be an interesting thing to do.

"But that is when Financial Fair Play has to be fair. Financial Fair Play. Not dodgy FFP. Because if it is dodgy, take the fair and just call it 'Dodgy Financial Play'."

Chelsea will take on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Monday.
