Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that new signing Loic Remy has "no problem" with his fitness despite Liverpool reportedly pulling out of a move for the striker due to concerns raised in a medical.
According to reports, Liverpool pulled out of a deal to sign Remy at the eleventh hour earlier this summer due to problems during his medical at Melwood.
Mourinho told reporters: "We don't have Liverpool's report.
"Dr Paco Biosca (club doctor) did his job, surrounded himself with opinions from top specialists in different areas, and the final conclusion was the same conclusion that the French Football Federation medical department had before the World Cup. The player has no problem."
Remy enjoyed a loan spell at Newcastle United last season, scoring 14 goals in 26 appearances.
