Gus Poyet "delighted" by Jose Mourinho return

Gus Poyet reveals his delight over the return of Jose Mourinho to Chelsea and is adamant that he will be successful in his second spell at the Blues.

Brighton & Hove Albion manager Gus Poyet believes that Jose Mourinho will be a huge success in his second spell at Chelsea.

The Blues confirmed that the Portuguese had returned to the club last week after he left Real Madrid at the end of last season.

Poyet told reporters: "I'm absolutely delighted. I'm a big, big fan of Jose. I think it's going to be good. I don't know why people are being so negative. It's going to be fantastic.

"People think that the second time around it's never as good, but I think it will be because he's got the personality, the knowledge and the fans love him.

"Everything is in place for him to have a good few years at the club. Jose will bring something special to the team. He's perfect for England."

Mourinho won the Premier League twice during his first spell at the Blues.
