Chelsea captain John Terry happy with Diego Costa arrival

Chelsea captain John Terry believes that new arrival Diego Costa "could be a very good signing" for the club.

Chelsea captain John Terry has claimed that Diego Costa "could be a very good signing" for the club.

The striker completed his move from Atletico Madrid to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday on a five-year deal.

It is understood that Chelsea paid around £32m for the 25-year-old Spanish international.

"He holds the ball up very well, he has got great movement and he is really physical, but he is very clever with his strength and the way he uses his body," Terry told the club's official website. "I think he could be a very good signing for us."

Costa scored 35 goals in 44 games last season as Atletico won the La Liga title and reached the Champions League final.
