John Terry: "We deserve a lot of respect"

John Terry claims that Chelsea deserve "a lot of respect" after moving closer to the Premier League title with a 3-1 win over Leicester City.

John Terry has claimed that Chelsea deserve more respect following the 3-1 victory over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

The Premier League leaders shrugged off recent criticism of their style to cancel out Marc Albrighton's opener with goals from Didier Drogba, Terry and Ramires at the King Power Stadium, and the captain believes that the team proved their quality again.

"We are almost there. They were a tough side and they kept fighting. We got a telling off at half-time and we came out and played excellently in the second half. It wasn't good enough in the first half but listen, we got the three points," Terry told Sky Sports News.

"We've been the best side all season. We deserve a lot of respect, we've been very good all year. Let's hope we win it on Sunday."

Chelsea can clinch the title with victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
