UEFA confirm that they will not change the rules to allow the suspended Chelsea and Bayern Munich players to compete in the Champions League final.

UEFA have confirmed that they will not change their ruling regarding suspensions for the Champions League final between Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

The Premier League outfit will be without Branislav Ivanovic, Raul Meireles and Ramires for next month's final in Germany after the trio picked up yellow cards in Chelsea's semi-final win over Barcelona on Tuesday, while captain John Terry will miss out after being sent off in the clash at the Nou Camp.

Bayern Munich will also be unable to call on David Alaba, Luis Gustavo and Holger Badstuber as all three were cautioned during the Bundesliga side's win over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu yesterday.

Despite FIFPro, the worldwide representative organisation for all professional footballers, urging UEFA to reinstate the banned players, the European governing body have rejected the idea of adapting the guidelines for the final at the Allianz Arena on May 19.

Meanwhile, UEFA have confirmed that Terry will be able to lift the trophy and receive a winners' medal if Chelsea defeat Bayern Munich.
