The FA reportedly schedule Chelsea captain John Terry's racism hearing for September 24.

Chelsea captain John Terry is reportedly expected to attend a hearing regarding the Football Association's racism charge on September 24.

The former England captain could face a lengthy match ban if he is found guilty of using "abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour" towards Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand back in a Premier League encounter last October.

The hearing, which will go ahead in under two weeks' time, could last for two or three days, according to the London Evening Standard.

Terry was acquitted of a racially-aggravated public order offence by Westminster Magistrates' Court in July.
