Team News: Didier Drogba skippers Chelsea on final appearance

Ivorian forward Didier Drogba captains Chelsea against Sunderland in the Premier League.

Didier Drogba will captain Chelsea against Sunderland in what will be his final match in a Blues shirt.

The Ivorian has been granted permission to leave Stamford Bridge on a free transfer this summer, but will be given a send-off on the final weekend of the Premier League season.

Goalkeeper Petr Cech also starts in what could be his final game for the club, while January signing Juan Cuadrado is included.

Eden Hazard had been expected to miss out following dental surgery, but the Belgian also starts for the league champions.

As for Sunderland, head coach Dick Advocaat has made three changes from the draw at Arsenal last time out.

Vito Mannone, Jack Rodwell and Steven Fletcher all come into the XI, with Costel Pantilimon, Lee Cattermole and Danny Graham dropping out. Jermain Defoe and Connor Wickham both keep their spots for the Black Cats.

Chelsea: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Mikel, Matic; Cuadrado, Willian, Hazard; Drogba

Sunderland: Mannone; Jones, O'Shea, Coates, Aanholt; Larsson, Rodwell; Johnson, Wickham, Defoe; Fletcher
