Chelsea are reportedly considering a swap deal with Napoli which would see Andreas Christensen join the Serie A outfit in exchange for Elseid Hysaj moving in the opposite direction.
Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is understood to have recommended Hysaj to the club, having previously managed the full-back at Empoli and Napoli.
Sarri is keen to reunite with the Albania international at Stamford Bridge too, and Calciomercato claims that he would be willing to consider using Christensen as part of any deal.
Christensen has been linked with a move away from Chelsea in January, having found himself firmly down the pecking order since Sarri's arrival at the club.
The Denmark international is yet to make a single Premier League appearance this season and has previously hinted at his displeasure at the current situation.
Napoli could be more open to the idea of losing Hysaj if they are able to secure another defender in exchange, particularly amid growing speculation over the future of centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.
