Chelsea interested in Atalanta defender Robin Gosens?

Chelsea could move for Atalanta BC defender Robin Gosens during this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Atalanta BC defender Robin Gosens has reportedly emerged as a potential target for Chelsea ahead of this summer's transfer window.

Frank Lampard's side are expected to be in the market for a new left-back ahead of the 2020-21 campaign as the speculation surrounding the futures of Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri continues.

Leicester City's Ben Chilwell has been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, but according to 90min, the Blues are 'keeping a close eye' on Gosens.

The report claims that Atalanta value the 25-year-old in the region of €30m (£26.2m) with Inter Milan and Lyon also believed to be interested in a summer deal.

Gosens has been in impressive form for his Italian club during the 2019-20 campaign, providing eight goals and five assists in 30 appearances in all competitions.

The German's current deal with La Dea is due to expire in the summer of 2022.
