Chelsea have reportedly rejected a £35m bid for goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois from Real Madrid.
Courtois, who has one year left on his current deal at Stamford Bridge, has been linked with a move back to Spain as Madrid look to replace Costa Rica international Keylor Navas.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio, Real have made their move with a £35m bid after previous target David de Gea reportedly agreed fresh terms with Manchester United.
The Spanish giants are said to have been rebuffed, however, as the Blues allegedly believe that Belgian international Courtois is worth more than Real's initial valuation.
The stopper will be between the sticks for Belgium's first World Cup tie against Panama on Monday.
