Chelsea to sell Fernando Torres, Demba Ba?

Chelsea could sell both Fernando Torres and Demba Ba before the start of pre-season training, according to reports.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho wants to conclude his transfer business before the start of pre-season training, according to reports.

Mourinho is keen to spend as much time as possible with his players before the start of the Premier League, and that could see Chelsea move quickly to tinker with their squad.

According to the Daily Star, the Portuguese coach has instructed club officials to consider bids for Fernando Torres and Demba Ba.

Torres will be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge for around £18m, but Ba could prove more difficult to sell, with the Senegal international likely to demand £70,000 per week.

If the Blues are successful in selling their strikers, they could make a move for Borussia Dortmund forward Robert Lewandowski, but it is unclear whether the German club would be prepared to sell the Polish international.
