Genk midfielder Kevin de Bruyne is believed to be having a medical at Chelsea ahead of a proposed move to Stamford Bridge.
The Belgian club confirmed last week that they were in talks with the Blues over a switch for the 20-year-old.
It is understood that the midfielder will join Chelsea for £6.7m and will be immediately loaned back to Genk for the rest of the season, according to Sky Sports News.
Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas recently claimed that it was not his choice to sign the playmaker.
De Bruyne has racked up 12 goals and 77 appearances for Genk.
