Kepa Arrizabalaga 'resigned to never turning out for Chelsea again'

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga believes that he has played his last game for the club, according to a report.

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga reportedly believes that he has played his last game for the club.

The world's most expensive stopper was dropped for his side's final Premier League game of the 2019-20 campaign against Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.

Willy Caballero is again expected to get the nod between the sticks for Saturday's FA Cup final against Arsenal, and according to The Sun, Kepa is resigned to never turning out for the Blues again.

Chelsea will follow the cup final with the second leg of their last-16 Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on August 8, and the report claims that the Spain international also expects to be overlooked for the European tie, which could be Chelsea's last match of the season as they trail 3-0 to the German champions.

Kepa still has five years left to run on the big-money contract that he signed at Stamford Bridge upon his arrival from Athletic Bilbao ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.

The 25-year-old has consistently struggled to impress for the London club, though, keeping just eight clean sheets in 33 Premier League appearances this season, conceding 47 times in the process.

Valencia are allegedly interested in bringing the Spaniard back to La Liga this summer.
