Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has been named on the Premier League's list of players that have been released by their respective clubs.
The 35-year-old, who is currently with the England World Cup squad in Portugal ahead of next month's tournament in Brazil, is out of contract at Stamford Bridge.
There were reports that the midfielder may extend his stay with the Blues, but as of now, it appears that manager Jose Mourinho has told Lampard that he can move on.
However, above the lists on the Premier League's official website, it stated: "Please note that players signified as a 'free transfer' or released by a club could remain there next season and so this list should not be seen as definitive for players leaving their club."
Left-back Ashley Cole, who announced this week that he is unlikely to stay at Stamford Bridge, is joined by striker Samuel Eto'o and goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer on Chelsea's 'free transfers' list.
