Liverpool reportedly have no intention of lodging any kind of an approach for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner during the January transfer window.

Liverpool reportedly have little interest in securing a deal for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.

Having netted 25 times in all competitions this season, Werner has been heavily linked with a move to a bigger club during 2020.

While Chelsea have been credited as admirers of the Germany international, it has been claimed that the attacker would prefer a move to Anfield.

However, Sky Sports News claims that the Merseyside giants have no intention of making a bid before the end of the January transfer window.

The report hints that Jurgen Klopp is currently not planning an approach during the summer, despite the player's versatility only strengthening his options in the final third.

Werner is said to have a release clause in his contract, leaving open the possibility of an exit later in the year.
