Liverpool have allegedly contemplated the prospect of trying to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic in 2019.
Pulisic has established himself as one of the top young players currently featuring in Europe, with the 19-year-old having already scored 12 goals in 97 appearances for Dortmund.
The United States international has reportedly emerged as a target for Chelsea, but according to journalist Raphael Honigstein, Liverpool may look to agree terms with Dortmund for a deal to go through next summer.
Liverpool put together a similar agreement with RB Leipzig for midfielder Naby Keita, who spent last season in Germany before completing a switch to Anfield ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Pulisic has just two years remaining on his contract, meaning that such a deal may potentially benefit both parties.
