Filipe Luis wants Chelsea move?

Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis reportedly cuts off all contact with his club to push through a move to Chelsea.

Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis has reportedly cut off all contact with his club to push through a protracted move to Chelsea.

The Blues have been linked with the 28-year-old after allowing Ashley Cole to leave on a free transfer at the end of last season.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is also looking to complete deals for Luis's teammates Diego Costa and Tiago.

According to The Express, Luis is unhappy with life in Spain and wants to make the move to Stamford Bridge to boost his chances of playing for Brazil.

It is thought that a fee in the region of £19m would persuade the reigning La Liga champions to sell.

Luis joined Atletico from Deportivo La Coruna in 2010.
