Chelsea's David Luiz 'close to sealing £50m move to Paris Saint-Germain'

David Luiz is reportedly close to leaving Chelsea for Paris Saint-Germain in a £50m transfer this summer.

Chelsea defender David Luiz is reportedly close to agreeing a £50m move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Brazilian has been linked with a switch to France in the last few days following speculation that he is set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

The 27-year-old, who will be part of the Brazil squad for next month's World Cup in his homeland, has also been touted as a possible target for Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

However, according to Sky Sports News, PSG are winning the race for Luiz's signature as they enter advanced talks with Chelsea regarding a big-money move.

If the deal goes through, it will make Luiz, who joined Chelsea from Benfica in 2011, the world's most expensive defender.
