Napoli president Aurelia De Laurentiis reveals that six clubs are in the running to sign Manchester City and Chelsea target Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Napoli president Aurelia De Laurentiis has revealed that a host of clubs are fighting for the signature of Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The 27-year-old forward is believed to be on Premier League champions Manchester City's radar as well as London outfit Chelsea. However, De Laurentiis has confirmed that up to six clubs are keen on the Argentina international.

"Six clubs continuously ask me about 'Il Pocho'," De Laurentiis told Gazzetta dello Sport. "There is an international bidding war going on for him.

"With calmness and alongside Lavezzi we will evaluate where he wants to go, and what is the best solution for him and for the club."

Lavezzi reportedly has a £26.8m release clause in his contract, which is due to run out in 2015.
