Paris Saint-Germain to renew Juan Mata interest?

Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly renew their interest in Chelsea's Juan Mata, although could face competition from Tottenham Hotspur.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing to renew their interest in Chelsea star Juan Mata.

The Spanish international initially found it difficult to get into Jose Mourinho's first team, despite being the club's reigning player of the year.

Mata has since forced his way into the team, but according to The Telegraph, the midfielder is still worried about his place in Spain's World Cup squad.

Tottenham Hotspur are also to rumoured to be monitoring the situation. Their boss Andre Villas-Boas managed Mata at Chelsea and would welcome the chance to reunite with the playmaker.

Chelsea meanwhile, could replace Mata with Everton's Ross Barkley, with a £20m January bid rumoured to be in the pipeline.
