Queens Park Rangers 'want £2m for Robert Green'

Chelsea reportedly earmark Robert Green to replace Petr Cech, should he leave Stamford Bridge.

Queens Park Rangers have reportedly told Chelsea that they must pay £2m if they decide to replace Petr Cech with Robert Green.

According to The Express, the Premier League leaders have earmarked Green as the ideal replacement if the Czech Republic international finally leaves Stamford Bridge.

The 35-year-old's current deal with the R's is set to expire at the end of next season, but the Loftus Road outfit may decide to cash in on the former England international, should they be relegated.

Green is thought to be concerned about the possibility of making very few appearances if he moves, although Chelsea hope that a significant salary increase will help sway the player.

QPR lost 2-1 at home to Everton last Sunday.
