Barcelona are reportedly prepared to test Chelsea's resolve to keep Eden Hazard with a £43m offer for the Belgian international.
Hazard was named the Premier League's best player last season, scoring 14 times as the Blues won the title in comfortable fashion.
The 24-year-old has not scored in 12 league appearances this season, however, and is reportedly becoming increasingly unsettled at Stamford Bridge, having been dropped from the lineup on a couple of occasions in recent weeks.
According to Don Balon, Barcelona want to take advantage of Hazard's difficult situation at Chelsea by launching a bid in excess of £40m.
Hazard, who joined Chelsea from Lille in 2012, has scored 50 times for his current club, in addition to netting 12 goals in 62 appearances for Belgium.
