Report: Manchester City, Chelsea fight for Riechedly Bazoer

A report claims that Ajax midfielder Riechedly Bazoer is a transfer target for both Manchester City and Chelsea at the end of the season.

Manchester City will reportedly go head to head with Chelsea for the signature of Ajax midfielder Riechedly Bazoer at the end of the season.

The 19-year-old spent six years with PSV Eindhoven's youth team before joining Ajax in 2012 and he has since made more than 50 appearances for the senior side.

The central midfielder is also already a full Netherlands international having made his debut towards the end of 2015.

According to The Mirror, Man City's incoming boss Pep Guardiola will inform the board that he wants to bring the teenager to the Etihad amid interest from Chelsea.

Bazoer is believed to have a contract at Ajax until 2020.
