Report: Real Madrid want Branislav Ivanovic

A report claims that Real Madrid want to sign Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.

The 31-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best defenders in Europe, with his form over the last couple of seasons drawing the attention of the biggest clubs in world football.

Chelsea are believed to be in the process of offering Ivanovic a new contract, but as it stands, he will be a free agent next summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Real Madrid are closely monitoring proceedings and are preparing to launch an offer for the Serbian.

Paris Saint-Germain are also strong admirers of the versatile defender.
