Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri has revealed that he is planning to hold talks with Gonzalo Higuain and has hinted that the striker will not return to Chelsea.
Higuain spent the second half of last season at Stamford Bridge after Sarri pushed the board to make the loan signing.
The 31-year-old managed just five goals in 18 appearances, however, and Chelsea do not look likely to take up the option to sign him permanently for £31m.
Sarri got the best out of Higuain during their time together at Napoli and he expects the Argentinian to join him in returning to Serie A.
"He is a Juventus player, so when he returns from vacation, we'll have the opportunity to talk," Sarri said at his Juventus unveiling on Thursday.
"It depends on Gonzalo because I get the feeling he didn't enjoy the post-Juventus experience and was a little shaken after that season, these things happen."
Sarri is reportedly planning to raid former club Chelsea for Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri.
