Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone hails striker Radamel Falcao as a "very complete player" and insists that he is not worried about his potential departure.

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone has refused to divulge if striker Radamel Falcao will leave the club at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League, with both Chelsea and Manchester City said to be keen on the Colombia international.

"Radamel excites you," Simeone told Rock and Closs. "All that happens with him is not accidental. He looks for things, he wants things and he trains to be the best.

"I think he knows that this is an important time and I am convinced that right now he is at a club that is stronger than any other.

"I am not thinking of when he will go. It's like anything else in that you have to enjoy it, live it, and whatever else happens will happen."

Simeone added that if Falcao does leave Atletico, then it will be difficult for the club to find a replacement.

"Is there a replacement for him? He is different from the rest," said the 42-year-old. "He is a predator, aggressive, committed to working for the team; a very complete player.

"Knowing his potential he is somebody who will improve on his weaknesses because he knows what he is good at and what he is bad at. That is a great strength Falcao has."

Falcao has scored eight goals in La Liga so far this season.
