Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to match Antoine Griezmann's release clause to try to beat Chelsea and Monaco to the signing of the Real Sociedad winger.
Spurs are believed to have made acquiring the 23-year-old Frenchman a summer priority as they look to find a long-term replacement for Gareth Bale on the left.
Sociedad have apparently already knocked back an offer from the White Hart Lane outfit for their Les Bleus World Cup star, who scored 16 goals in 41 appearances for his club last season.
The Telegraph reports that Tottenham are willing to improve their bid to meet Griezmann's £25m buy-out clause, but Chelsea and Monaco may also be prepared to do the same.
Monaco apparently want Griezmann to fill the void soon to be left by Real Madrid-bound James Rodriguez.
