Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has admitted that he sees his future in Spain due to family reasons.
The 25-year-old has been part of the Blues' ranks since 2011 and is contracted at Stamford Bridge until 2019, but Real Madrid have been credited with an interest in taking him to the Bernabeu in recent transfer windows.
The London club would reportedly rather let the player's contract run down than sell him to Los Blancos, but the Belgian has said that Spain is his preferred destination when it is time to move on.
Courtois spent a spell on loan at Atletico Madrid between 2011 and 2014 and his two children are currently being raised there, leaving him keen to make the move to join them.
"Everybody knows that due to my personal situation, Spain attracts me. If it is not now, it will be in some years," he told LaSexta.
Courtois has made 21 appearances for the club this season.
