Ashley Cole considering retirement?

A report claims that Ashley Cole may choose to retire when his contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the season.

Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole is reportedly considering retiring from football after next summer's World Cup in Brazil.

According to the Daily Mail, 33-year-old is disillusioned about his future at Stamford Bridge and is keen on ending his career by becoming the first Englishman to play in four World Cup tournaments.

Doubts over a new one-year deal have been added to by Cesar Azpilicueta taking his place in Jose Mourinho's first team recently, and he has been told that he will remain on the bench for Monday's clash at his former club Arsenal.

Cole has won three Premier League titles, seven FA Cups, one League Cup, a Europa League and a Champions League medal during his 14 years in the game, in addition to winning 106 caps for his country.
