Dover Athletic have moved to within four points of top spot in the National League table after drawing 1-1 away at Chester FC.
It was Chester who had the better of the opening exchanges in the North-West, with Craig Mahon, John Rooney and Calum Dyson all having opportunities inside the opening 30 minutes.
However, eight minutes before the break, Dover went in front thanks to Ricky Miller, who volleyed into the net after neat build-up play from his teammates.
Chester were back on level terms before half time, however, after Ross Hannah added the final touch after a scramble inside the area.
On the hour mark, Miller forced a save out of Jon Worsnop as Dover looked to regain the lead, before a minute later, Tom Shaw almost found the top corner from 30 yards, only to see Andy Rafferty tip the ball wide.
Chester were struggling to handle Miller in the final third, but the Dover striker could not find a winner for his side, with three chances being squandered before Chester eventually secured a point.
