Mauricio Pinilla: 'We cannot fail in last 16'

Chile "cannot fail" in their last-16 tie against Brazil, according to striker Mauricio Pinilla.

Chile striker Mauricio Pinilla has said that his teammates have enough in their locker to take on any of the World Cup's top teams, despite losing their final group game to Netherlands in Sao Paulo.

Goals from Leroy Fer and Memphis Depay were enough to ensure the Oranje avoided a likely second-round tie with Brazil, but Pinilla suggests that La Roja are unafraid of taking on the best sides in the competition.

He told reporters: "We have enough weapons to take on any opponent. Now we have a very important game (against Brazil in the last 16) and we cannot fail."

Chile take on La Selecao in Belo Horizonte after the hosts saw off Cameroon, with Neymar netting twice in a 4-1 win.
