Andy Thorn feels "hard done by"

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn believes that his side deserved more than the point they won against Blackpool yesterday.

Andy Thorn has revealed that his Coventry City players feel "hard done by" after yesterday's 2-2 draw at home with Blackpool.

The Sky Blues looked as though they had claimed their second league win of the season until Keith Southern struck in time added on to hand Ian Holloway's side a share of the spoils.

After the match Thorn has claimed that the Tangerines' equaliser should not have stood because of a foul in the build-up.

"We didn't start well for half an hour and never got near anyone but we changed what we were doing a little bit and I thought we deserved to win," he told the club's official website.

"We were disappointed with their equaliser though because it was a foul on Joe Murphy but a corner has been awarded which led to the goal, so we're disappointed not to get the three points.

"These things happen but we do feel a bit hard done by tonight."

Thorn's men face a trip to Barnsley on Saturday afternoon.
