Dougie Freedman: "I cannot stop speculation"

Reported Bolton Wanderers target Dougie Freedman insists that he is only concentrating on Crystal Palace's upcoming matches.

Dougie Freedman has refused to comment on speculation linking him with the managerial vacancy at Bolton Wanderers.

The current Crystal Palace coach is the bookmakers' favourite to replace Owen Coyle, who was sacked by the Bolton board last week.

Despite the rumours regarding his future, Freedman has insisted that his sole focus remains on Palace's London derby against Millwall this weekend.

"I cannot stop speculation, but I am very happy to be playing Millwall this weekend and that's all I want to say. I cannot deal with speculation, I have too much to do in this job," he told the Croydon Guardian.

"I only deal in facts, and the facts are that I have a game against Millwall this weekend and I am keeping my fingers crossed that my players come back from international duty without any injuries, and I am also keeping my fingers crossed that I have prepared in the best possible way so that we win the match.

"Those are the facts, let's stick to the facts."

Freedman took charge of the Eagles in January 2011.
