Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway admits that he is "proud" of his players following their 2-2 draw at Watford in the Championship on Friday night.

Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has admitted that he is "proud" of his team following their 2-2 draw at Watford in the Championship on Friday night.

The Eagles were 2-0 down going into the second half at Vicarage Road, but goals from Peter Ramage and Kevin Phillips secured a share of the spoils for the away side.

"I thoroughly enjoyed the second half," Holloway told Sky Sports News. "I think we got what we deserved and maybe by the end we could have got something more.

"I'm proud of my team. We've got 15 games left - let's have a right good go at getting promotion."

Friday's draw has seen fifth-placed Palace move to within a point of the automatic promotion places.
