The UK representative of Deportivo La Coruna midfielder Abel Aguilar has revealed that a number of Premier League clubs are interested in signing his client.
The 28-year-old, who is the captain of Colombia, is expected to leave his Spanish club this summer following their relegation from La Liga last season.
"Abel Aguilar has been made available due to circumstances of finances at the club. Aguilar is at the top of his game - Colombian captain and the driving force of the international set-up," Jonathan Hope told Sky Sports News.
"We have spoken to several clubs in the Premier League who have confirmed definitive interest. There will be a small fee for the player but nothing obscene for Premier League or Championship clubs.
"What an exciting opportunity for a club to grab an unreal talent. We have interest in China also. This player will be one of the best signings of the 2013-14 season. We will weigh up all the offers and let the player decide where his heart is."
A number of Spanish clubs are also believed to be monitoring proceedings.
