Dundee United have revealed that Rodney Sneijder has left the club just one month after his arrival.
The 24-year-old, who signed a two-year deal at Tannadice Park in July, made just one appearance as a substitute for the Scottish Premiership side.
"This is the best solution for Rodney first and foremost. We have a responsibility to protect the player's health moving forward and respect his current situation," manager Jackie McNamara told the club's official website.
The Terrors have confirmed that they will replace any replica shirts that have been purchased by supporters with Sneijder's name on.
