Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has conceded that his England career is probably over.
Crouch has scored 22 goals in 42 games for the Three Lions, but his last appearance for the senior side came back in November 2010.
Despite enjoying a resurgence this season with three goals in eight games for the Potters, the 33-year-old is not expecting a call from Roy Hodgson.
"I'd probably say I've given up," he told Sky Sports News. "I've always loved playing for my country and I really enjoyed every second I had playing for England.
"There were obviously a couple of World Cups, great times. I got 42 caps and really enjoyed it - but it seems to have faded away."
Crouch made his debut for England against Colombia in 2005 under Sven-Goran Eriksson.
