Adam Lallana "hungry" for more England caps

Adam Lallana reveals that he is "hungry" to be part of the England setup in the future after making his debut in Friday's friendly defeat to Chile.

Adam Lallana has revealed that he is "hungry" for more England caps after making his debut in Friday's friendly defeat to Chile.

The Southampton midfielder started the match at Wembley Stadium, but he could not stop the Three Lions going down 2-0 against the South Americans.

Lallana, 25, is now eager to be part of the England setup in the future.

"I am massively determined," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "It is obviously the pinnacle of everyone really that's involved in the game.

"It is every child's dream to represent their country and I am happy I fulfilled that. I am just hungry for more now."

England return to action on Tuesday when they host Germany in another friendly.
